Luca D’Agostino graduated in Law at Luiss Guido Carli University cum laude and high honors. Following his nomination as a teaching assistant for criminal law, he enrolled in the Ph. D. Program in “Law and Business” at LUISS on September 2016. During his doctoral studies, he deepened his experience in the area of criminal law, corporate liability and IT law.
He spent a visiting researcher period in Zurich (UZH) being involved in a study about information security, with a particular focus on regulatory compliance strategies and liability. In 2019 he submitted his Ph. D. Thesis about «Blockchain and Financial Cybercrime. Reasons for Protection and Models for Criminal Liability», that focuses on the most significative topics for criminal law concerning all the activities related to the use of virtual currency.
Actually, he works as teaching assistant for “Cybersecurity: regulation and policy” course at LUISS Department of Law.
His professional activity as legal advisor deals with corporate compliance and data protection.
During is doctoral studies he published important scientific articles on corporate liability and business law.
