Oscar Rosario Gugliotta

Oscar Rosario Gugliotta is a Ph.D. Fellow in Law and Business at the Department of Law of Luiss Guido Carli University in Rome. He graduated in Economics at Bocconi University (B.A. in Economics and Social Sciences), in International Relations at Luiss Guido Carli (M.Sc. in International Relations) and in Diplomatic Studies at SIOI. Fellowship for the IPEPS Module Master in Brussels at Centre for European Policy Study.

His main areas of interest involve International Economic Law, International Organizations and Human Rights, International Trade Law, FinTech, European and International regulation of new technologies.

He conducted, amongst others, research on the regulation of cryptocurrencies within IFIs and on new technologies and their use within international trade. Moreover, he conducted research on the blockchain voting system and its use at the international level.

He worked as an intern at the Italian Embassy in Paris and in Washington D.C.. He won a project and cooperated with a NGO in Warsaw. He received the award of “Thesis of Excellence” of year for the master degree in International Relations.

Oscar Rosario was part of the A-id x SDGs working Group and he presented his researches in national and international Conferences (Law and Development Conference, University of Dubai; ICON-S Conference, Università degli Studi di Firenze; Dialogi europaei Conference, Università degli Studi di Bari Aldo Moro).
